Job Duties:

Perform tasks involving physical labor at construction sites. Operate hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment and instruments. The workers will be operating heavy equipment such as motor scrapers, soil compactors, bulldozers, backhoes, skid loaders, and shovels. Unload materials, lay out lumber, tin sheets and siding, trusses, and other components for building structures. Build and erect walls and trusses. Lift tin sheets and siding to roof and walls, install doors, and caulk structure. Clean and prepare sites, set braces to support the sides of excavations, erect scaffolding, and clean up rubble, debris, and other waste materials. Lubricate, clean, or repair machinery, equipment, or tools.
