- Job Duties:
- Manage and oversee the day to day care of children, including scheduling events, transporting the children to the events, school, doctor's appointments and extra-curricular activities. Instruct and assist children in the development of health and personal habits, such as eating, resting, and toilet behavior. Remove hazards and develop appropriate boundaries and rules to create a safe environment for children. Help prepare and serve nutritionally balanced meals and snacks for children. Regulate children's rest periods and nap schedules. Shop for groceries, clothing, and other items needed for children's care. Help develop and monitor family schedule. Supervise and oversee duties of babysitters when applicable.
