Job Duties:

Create a stimulating, nurturing and safe environment for childen; Supervise the children's activities at all times including home play and organized play; Support family during local visits to friends' homes, restaurants, events and other family activities; Plan, supervise, and maintain rest, bed and nap times; Change diapers and facilitate the transition through Toddler Potty Training; Dress children appropriately for activities; Communicate children's behaviors to parents and agree on consistent discipline; Assess children's nutritional needs to create nutritional food plan and provide nutritional counseling; Plan and prepare meals, bottles and snacks for children including conformance to nutritional standards and supervision of mealtime; and Schedule appointments.

Special Requirements:

Knowledge of Portuguese preferred BUT NOT REQUIRED. Must have training in Montessori. Must have training and experience in BLW (Baby-Led Weaning). Must be comfortable driving family car and children in the city and suburban areas. Must be comfortable with large dogs. Knowledge of RIE (Respectful Infant Educaring) preferred.
