Job Duties:
Weld together metal components of products such as stainless steel piping systems, plate, stainless steel pipe and tube or structural shapes in an industrial environment, as specified by layout, blueprints, diagram, P&ID drawings, work orders, welding procedure, or oral instructions. Use electric arc-welding or oxy-acetylene welding equipment. Inspect complete welds to determine structural soundness. Bolt, clamp, and tack weld parts to secure position for welding. Set up equipment and parts using arc, gas shield arc, or gas welding equipment. Weld metal materials to piping systems using the appropriate welding procedure for the various equipment and metal types involved. Join, fabricate, and repair metals and other weldable materials by applying appropriate welding techniques. Complete and review records, maintain tools and equipment. Adhere to all safety and project rules. Knowledge of welding concepts, practices, and procedures, including Gas-Metal Arc, Flux-Cored Arc, Gas- Tungsten Arc, Submerged Arc, or Shielded Metal Arc welding processes. Work in trenches welding Carbon Steel utility piping and in pipe racks welding in tight positions and lift/carry up to 50 lbs. Must weld with minimal defects to ASME IX, B31.3. Employee expected to work an average of 40 to 50 hours a week. Overtime wage is $40.28 per hour (1 ½ times regular rate). Overtime hours possible but not guaranteed.

Special Requirements:
Ability to weld GTAW and SMAW, Carbon Steel, 2", and monster coupon in 6G position. Must have two years experience in the last five years in GTAW and SMAW welding Sch. 10 Stainless Steel Pipe. Ability to pass employer paid performance verification in the skills required for the job and drug test. Night shift from 6pm to 4:30 am.
