Job Duties:

Mechanic work involving the skills of craft occupations to keep machines, mechanical equipment, fleet vehicles and construction equipment in repair including: Inspecting, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining mechanical equipment, fleet vehicles, and construction equipment, including basic electrical wiring.

Special Requirements:

1) Demonstrated ability to: (a) maintain, troubleshoot, and repair vehicles and construction equipment; and (b) repair heavy duty equipment in the field. 2) Demonstrated working knowledge of basic electrical wiring for vehicles and construction equipment. 3) Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds. F.A.5.-F.A.6. : HOURS AVERAGE 35 PER WEEK; Normal schedule 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM, must be available 24/7 on-call as needed (when there is 30% chance or more for a storm workers must be able to make it out to where they are needed to labor in less than two hours from they are notified to report at the location).
