Job Duties:

***RFI Response*** Performs a variety of tasks involving manual labor in landscape maintenance, irrigation, and landscape construction projects. Performs manual and machinery work in preparing surfaces for planting (Landscape Construction). Maintains a clean job site: picks up all tools and equipment and secures job site each day to eliminate potential hazards. Inventories and maintains crews’ tools. Performs materials handling and storage. Loads and unloads trucks and hauls and hoists materials. Ensures that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed. Cut turf using various sized power mowers, trimming and edging using a gas-powered edger/trimmer, and operating a gas-powered blower. Properly and safely prune shrubs and low trees as needed to improve the shape or growth habit or to remove damaged branches. Plant and maintain flower beds, trees, and ornamentals. Properly and safely operate the edger and line trimmer along sidewalks, flower beds, trees, buildings, fences and other hardscapes.Pick up trash and blow leaves and other organic debris on to the turf before mowing. Mulch the leaves and organic matter when mowing. Perform weeding by hand or using a garden hoe or hula hoe. Maintain a polite, friendly, responsive demeanor with guests and customers. Brings problems to the attention of the foreman, safety director or HR manager. Employees will be expected to know how to use the following equipment and tools: Zero Turn, Weed Eaters, Blowers, Edger, Tree Trimmers, Chainsaw, Reel Mower, Tractor PTO, Lawn Aerator, Vertical Cutter, Drop Spreader, Shovel, Backpack Sprayer, Rake. ***Original F.a.2.*** Cuts grass using a riding or push lawn mower, tractor, edger, weeding and maintain landscaping for campgrounds and day use areas, including collecting trash, cleaning restroom, and trimming trees; Calibrates and maintains irrigation sprinklers; Uses hand tools to dig ditches or holes, and shovels dirt, gravel, asphalt, or sand; Performs light maintenance and construction duties;
