Job Duties:

***RFI Response*** The employer needs a Landscaper to lead landscaping teams on landscaping design, installation, maintenance, as well as lawncare for residential and commercial properties. The landscaping projects include: planting and maintaining trees, shrubs, bushes, flowers, and other foliage; maintaining (including by cutting and trimming) lawns and landscapes; building and maintaining hardscapes, such as patios, pavers, and retaining walls; installing and maintaining drains (like French drains) and dry creeks; fall maintenance (usually, removing fallen leaves); and spring maintenance (such as adding compost and doing other things to prepare lawns for growth). The worker that the company needs will need to know how to plants trees and shrubs, to make and install mulch, and to lead both the designing and building of the landscaping and hardscaping projects described above. The Landscaper (team leader) must know how to operate Bobcats and forklifts, as well as a three-quarter-ton truck with a trailer. Finally, we prefer that the Landscaper can communicate in both English and Spanish, so as to work with both property owners and team laborers. The employer takes on projects on both residential and commercial properties in west St. Louis County.
