- Set up food preparation line and food serving line using proper tools, equipment, and food placement. Prepare and cook food. Portion, arrange, and garnish food. Label, date, rotate food items. Properly store food to ensure quality. Ensure safe and sanitary work environment. Wash dishes. Follow proper opening, closing, and cleaning kitchen procedures. Work in hot environment. On-the-job training available.
