Job Duties:
General landscaping and groundskeeping workers use their skills and experience to develop unique outdoor spaces and turn contractors or property owners visions into public parks, gardens areas, commercial surroundings and residential living spaces. General landscapers maintain grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment. Workers typically perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, flower bed construction and preparation, removing unwanted debris, monitoring plant health, weeding, sprinkler installation, and installation of mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units. Mowing and trimming occurs on a weekly or bi-weekly basis based on signed contracts or weekly invoicing
