Position Title: Server (Temporary) Positions Available: 3 Start-End dates: 04/01/2023-10/31/2023 Position Duties: Perform temporary and full-time job duties as follows: GREET GUESTS, TAKE ORDERS, SERVES FOOD & BEVERAGES TO CUSTOMERS. CLEAN OFF AND SET TABLES. KEEP STATIONS STOCKED AND CLEAN. Job is located in Sandy, UT . Transportation to and from worksite is provided. No exp nec. Employer will reimburse employee for permit online course and permit fees. Housing is offered and optional. Cost of housing, if accepted, is $200.00 bi-weekly. If used, total cost of housing will be deducted from paycheck. Includes utilities. A 200.00 refundable deposit will be deducted over four weeks at 50.00/week and refunded upon completion of contract and inspection of housing. Meals are provided to employees during work hours. Rate of Pay: $15.00-18.00/hour & 22.50-27.00/hour overtime pay based on performance. Tipping position. Single workweek will be used to compute wages due. All deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law will be made. Workers will be paid every two weeks by check. Work hours: 40 hrs/wk. Rotating shifts 7am-10PM. Days vary Tuesday- Sunday. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holidays. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. No minimum education or training required. On-the-job training will be provided. Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, by check separate from payroll, if the worker completes half the employment period. Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer. In other words, if the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work by check separate from payroll. Upon completion of the work contract period, or where the employee is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker's reasonable cost of return transportation and subsistence back home or the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $14.00 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period. H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first work week all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).
