Job Description

- Job Duties:
- Set up and align forms to create walls, pillars, walkways, and other structures. Smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete, such as floors, walks, sidewalks, roads, or curbs using a variety of hand and power tools. Assist with material and equipment staging for maximum efficiency. Assist in maintaining a proper supply of concrete so that operations remain constant. Guide the concrete to the proper place; direct the driver of the mixing truck as to where to best be positioned. Use tools to distribute the concrete and smooth the top. General clean-up of site and building organization. Track small tools used and store appropriately at the end of the workday. Inspect tools for safe working conditions, and tag and turn in any damaged equipment. Follow instructions and complete assigned tasks in a timely manner with the best workmanship possible. Keep open communication with Foreman or Superintendent when circumstances which affect completion of their assigned tasks have changed.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Employees must pass a drug screening and physical ability test before hire to ensure ability to safely perform the listed job duties.
