Job Duties:

***RFI Response*** More specifically, the Plant Oiler will (1) help with light maintenance of the motors on the plant, conveyors, and cement storage units consisting mainly of greasing moving parts of the plant, motors, and conveyors associated with the plant operation; (2) hook arid unhook hoses and trucks of the cement storage units; and (3) shovel out piles of aggregate under the plant and conveyors. The types of plant parts and machines the employee will maintain lnclude Rex model S concrete plant (or similar), conveyor belts, and cement storage containers. This position is generally filled by a general laborer who is directed where to grease things and how often to grease things as a daily function and is closely supervised by the Plant Operator. ***Original F.a.2*** Plant Oiler tasks include labor and maintenance work related to the safe operation of construction concrete plants: Responsible for monitoring the mix plant, engines and equipment, assisting the plant operator, greasing and lubing plant parts. Ability to work in an outdoor environment subject to changing conditions and temperatures and moderate exposure to fumes, dust, odors, heights, and loud noises, manual labor and climbing to significant heights.
