Job Duties:

***RFI Response*** House Island is a premier. private island hospitality and destination event venue, with three fully-staffed guest homes. House Island is a private island, consisting only of the three guest homes - there are no other residences or businesses on the island. Using vacuums. brooms. mops and cleaning agents. perform daily cleaning of guest houses, bedrooms. bathrooms. kitchens. hallways and common areas: change bed linen and towels as needed; vacuum rugs and carpets using vacuum cleaner: using washing machine and dryer, Wash and dry bed linens, towels. and other laundry items: using dishwasher. clean dishes from meals: help set tables for meals and events: take household trash and recycling outside for disposal: assist as needed with deliveries. luggage and transport of other items from the dock to the guest homes. As many of the weddings. lobster bakes. clam bakes and other events are held outside on the island grounds. the duties or the position include assisting in maintaining the outdoor areas where meals are served and events held -- raking leaves. weeding. and watering the lawn that serves as the outdoor venue. Rotating shifts. must be able to work holidays and weekends. 35 hrs/wk.
