- Job Duties:
- keeping daily records of materials and inventory being used on work site, using forms provided by company, Identifying & cordoning off work areas to prevent entry by unauthorized persons, Maintaining a tidy & safe work area, Learning & implementing safety practices on equipment and tools at the work site, Reading and understanding work site instructions and specifications (which may be provided in English and/or Spanish), Loading, unloading, identifying building materials, machinery, or tools: distributing them to the appropriate locations, according to project plans or specifications, Having knowledge of construction tools, Digging ditches (by hand) for underground drainage, using tools such as picks, shovels, pneumatic tampers, Perform maintenance and upkeep of work site equipment, including generator, compressor, and pneumatic tools, Carry, move, and set up ladders (up to 60' in length), walk boards and scaffolding, set up and disassemble trash chutes, Knowledge of the following tools/equipment: soldering tools, levels, power grinder, circular and reciprocating saws, vacuum cleaners, Provide assistance to skilled construction laborer.
