Job Duties:

Duties may include: Take orders from patrons and answer questions about menu items. Enter orders into computers for transmittal to kitchen staff, prepare itemized checks for patrons and collect payment. Check identification to ensure patrons meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages. Serve food and/or beverages to patrons. Perform food preparation duties such as preparing salads, appetizers, cold dishes, portioning desserts, garnishes, drink mixes, and brewing coffee. Refill service areas and prepare tables with supplies such as coffee, food, tableware, linens, salt/pepper, cream/sugar, and condiments. Clean tables or counters by removing dishware, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, taking out trash, checking and/or cleaning bathroom & other related Server/Bartender activities as per SOC/OES 35-3031 (onetonline.org). Possible weekend/holiday work. Overtime possible, but not required or guaranteed. At Employer’s sole discretion: possible raises and/or bonuses based on individual factors such as work performance or skill (not guaranteed).

Special Requirements:

Must be 21 due to handling/serving alcohol. Must show proof of legal authorization to work in the United States. Drug/alcohol/tobacco free work zone. Perform physical activities: such as lift, balance, walk, stoop, handle, position, move, manipulate materials use static strength to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, carry objects up to 40lbs. All applicants must be able, willing and qualified to perform work described and must be available for the entire period specified and work throughout all areas of intended employment. Possible background check post hire at employer's expense. Hours may fluctuate based on tourism peaks and valleys throughout the season (+/-), possible downtime and/or overtime.
