- Job Duties:
- Hand raking, gathering, baling, and loading of pine straw from standing pine plantations. Workers must first manually clear ground of underlying plants, loose branches, pine cones, and any other debris. Workers then rake the pine straw and deposit into a baling box and compress the pine straw into bales. Finally, workers load the pine straw onto trucks by hand.
