Job Duties:

Sixty percent (60%) of the time, workers will perform lawn care maintenance by pruning and trimming trees, shrubs, and/or hedges. Maintain appearance of lawn by mowing and edging. Manage tree and shrub care and maintain flower beds. Perform landscape installation activities and prepare existing areas of foliage and landscaping materials. Must know how to use garden tools, hand tools, and lawn mowing equipment such as mowers, tractor, electric clippers, sod cutters, or pruning saws. Perform winter cutbacks on perennials and plants in order to properly prepare lawn or landscape for winter weather and new growth in the Spring. Maintain irrigation systems for flower beds, including winterizing the systems before temperatures drop below freezing to prevent damage. Forty percent (40%) of the time, workers will decorate homes with holiday decor, lighting, and banners at various jobsites. Utilize tools such as zip ties, hammers, drills, nails, screws, utility hook to fasten holiday decorations as necessary. Set up and work from ladders and/or lifts when required. Locate and report issues related to lighting or lit decor. The extent of troubleshooting only requires workers to only recognize issues and report to maintenance teams. Only repair work done by workers involves replacing bulbs deemed to be damaged.
