Job Duties:
As milling production and MRP production worker, workers will set up, operate, or tend milling or planning machines to mill, plane, shape, groove, or profile metal or plastic work pieces. Workers are responsible for operating a pneumatic air system, augers, mills, sifters, and bagging equipment to produce products. Workers will position and secure workpieces on machines, using holding devices, measuring instruments, hand tools, and hoists. Workers will remove workpieces from machines, and check to ensure that they conform to specifications, using measuring instruments such as microscopes, gauges, calipers and micrometers. Workers will move cutters or material manually or by turning handwheels or engage automatic feeding mechanisms to mill workpieces to specifications. Workers will observe milling or planning machine operation and adjust controls to ensure conformance with specified tolerances.

Must be able to lift and/or carry fifty (50) lbs. repeatedly throughout the day. Must be able to constantly stand, bend, and twist for 10-hour shifts, constantly push and/or pull. Must be able to occasionally crawl, kneel, and/or squat. Must be able to continuously use fine dexterity and/or forceful grasping. Training will be provided on the job. Flexible shifts may be available.
