Job Duties:

Job duties include driving a snow cat on mountain runs to maintain a safe skiing and boarding environment; perform pre-season vehicle maintenance; check assigned snow cat for mechanical defaults before and after operation; complete work orders on mechanical defaults found and submit to snow cat mechanics; maintain ski lift ramps; attend all driver meetings and ensure projects addressed are completed; build, maintain, and groom Terrain Parks; complete all winching operations needed on a nightly basis; meet with coworkers prior to leaving the base of the mountain to determine route and technique (individual or fleet grooming); transport mountain freight to designated mountain lodges; operate snow cat on designated ski runs; operate any other equipment relevant to snow grooming; conduct mountain maintenance for the winter season. Snow Groomers must be able to hike and work in extreme cold, inclement weather conditions; must also be able to move equipment up and down snow/ice covered ski slopes.
