The Department of Labor recently announced new minimum wage rates, called Adverse Effect Wage Rates (AEWRs), that employers must offer and pay, at the time work is performed, to nonimmigrant H-2A workers and workers in corresponding employment beginning on the effective date of the new wage rates. Job Duties:
Forestry Worker. Cutting balsam fir using hand pruners for the manufacturing of Christmas Wreaths, table decor etc. Workers must cut the tips off balsam trees and put them on a pole .Weight of tips must be at least 42 pounds. Worker must carry the pole of tips to the road and load the pole on to a container. Worker must work in various types of weather snow ,rain, cold etc. this work is done in Washington County, Columbia Falls Maine.
