The Department of Labor recently announced new minimum wage rates, called Adverse Effect Wage Rates (AEWRs), that employers must offer and pay, at the time work is performed, to nonimmigrant H-2A workers and workers in corresponding employment beginning on the effective date of the new wage rates. - Attends to the overall care of thoroughbred race horses including feeding, watering, maintenance of stalls and tack, cleaning, brushing, trimming of horses, disinfecting stalls and bedding. Will lift legs and clean horses' feet and apply liniments and bandages to legs as required. Will care for 1-5 horses at a time including hot walking and tacking up. Split shift 5 AM to 11 AM and 3 PM to 5 PM.
