Job Duties:

Duties may include: Operate vehicles or powered equipment, such as mowers, twin-axle vehicles, chainsaws, electric clippers, sod cutters, and/or pruning saws. Water lawns, trees, or plants using portable sprinkler systems, hoses, or watering cans. Prune or trim trees, shrubs, or hedges using shears, pruners, or chainsaws. Care for established lawns by mulching, aerating, weeding, mowing, removing thatch, or trimming or edging around flower beds, walks, or walls. Irrigation systems duties include trenching, laying PVC piping and installing sprinkler heads, winterizing the systems and starting them up in spring & other related Landscaper activities as per SOC/OES 37-3011 (onetonline.org). Possible weekend/holiday work. Overtime possible, but not required or guaranteed. At Employer’s sole discretion: possible raises and/or bonuses based on individual factors such as work performance or skill (not guaranteed).

Special Requirements:

Must be 18 due to insurance. Must show proof of legal authorization to work in the United States. Drug/alcohol/tobacco free work zone. Perform physical activities such as: lift, balance, walk, stoop, handle, position, move, manipulate materials use static strength to exert max muscle force to lift, push, pull, carry objects up to 75lbs (possible 2-person). All applicants must be able, willing and qualified to perform work described and must be available for the entire period specified and work throughout all areas of intended employment. Work is performed outdoors, exposed to weather; must be capable of doing physically strenuous labor for long hours, occasionally in extreme heat or cold. Variable weather conditions apply; hours may fluctuate (+/-), possible downtime and/or overtime.
