Job Duties:

Greets and initiates conversation with guests. Takes initiative to answer guest questions and/or resolve guest complaints. Uses sales techniques to upsell and add-on to transactions. Handles cash and credit card transactions accurately and proficiently. Knows and understands the Ropes Course Inc., Operator’s Manual. Collects money and/or scans ride cards. Maintains cleanliness and safety of ride, ropes course and surrounding work area. Ensures guests are the appropriate height and age to ride. Enforces ride restrictions and recommendations to ensure safe operation of the ride. Assists guests, as trained, with loading and exiting the ride, elements of the ropes course, particularly small children and guests with disabilities. Ensure guests are correctly secured by pulling down on safety bars, buckling seat belts, and/or securing harnesses prior to placing the ride or course in motion. Follows Standard Operating Procedures at all time. Uses proper terminology for all elements and sections of the course; for example, Sky Trail, Sky Rail, Sky Tykes, Quick Jump, Emergency Take Down Kit (ETK), Redundant Slide Assembly (RSA). Participates in daily inspections and completes daily checklists on all elements of the ropes course and rides. Explains safety and evacuation procedures to guests when necessary. Inspects ride for wear and tear and reports findings to Rides Supervisor on Duty. Keeps eyes on the ride at all times when it is in motion. Removes disorderly or sick guests from the ride or ropes course. Follows all SMOWI handbook policies. Other duties, as assigned.

Days and shifts may vary. Holidays, weekends, and evenings required as needed. Employer reserves the right to pay a higher wage, rate, or bonus to any worker in their sole discretion based on performance, skill, tenure, or experience. Employer is offering up to 20 hours of overtime per week as needed, but not guaranteed. Optional employer housing is available at a cost of $150/week. First week of employment will consist of at least 35 hours of paid on the job training.
