- Job Duties:
- Perform various tasks in the kitchen as directed by supervisors such as cooking, food preparation, and dish washing. Food that will be cooked/prepared includes: soup, tacos, wings, salads, burritos, sandwiches, steamed seafood, burgers, hotdogs, mac and cheese, french fries, potatoes, and rice. Will be working in a fast-paced hot kitchen. Standing job. Must be attentive, friendly, on time, and hard working. Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 20 pounds. Position includes cleaning: Wipe down counters, sweep and mop floors, empty trash, empty recyclables into recycle bins, break down cardboard boxes, wash and clean mats, send dirty dishes to the dishwasher. Wipe and clean all equipment such as flat top grill, steamers, and fryers (empty oil when necessary). Keep coolers, freezers, and stockrooms neat and organized. Cleaning all dishes, baskets, pots and pans that come their way and put away clean items. Having a clean kitchen is a top priority and all must do their part. Must be able to communicate well in English with co-workers.
