Job Duties:
Landscape or maintain grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment. Cut, trim, edge, water lawns and flower beds; clean up, weed, plant, spread mulch; rake, blow leaves, fertilizing, digging, mowing, raking, pruning, core aerating, planting and transplanting, seeding and sodding of all golf course grounds lawns. Must be able to lift/carry 50lbs. Minimum 35 hours per week up to a possible 40 hours per week. Open 7 days a week. Multiple 8-hour shifts, with 30 minutes unpaid relief period, vary between 5:00am - 4:00pm. Shift times: 5:00am-1:30pm; 6:00am - 2:30pm; 7:30am-4:00pm. Shifts and work days may vary with occupancy and weather. $15.30/hr. Overtime may be available, but not guaranteed. Employer may increase wage based on experience, changes in market conditions, and/or provide additional pay for performance and tenure. In Alabama, an overtime premium will be paid when required by Federal, State, or local law, including at time-and-a-half after 40 hours per workweek. Generally, when overtime is available it will be paid at $22.95 per hour based on locality the work is performed and the base rate of pay offered per hour. A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Pay received bi-weekly.
