Job Duties:

Under the direction of a supervisor, the workers will assist lead workers doing carpentry work that requires less skill. Workers will assist lead carpenters in framing the exterior and interior walls of residential or commercial buildings by carrying, measuring and cutting the studs and/or plywood and/or other materials according to the lead carpenters’ specifications. Under close supervision, the workers will install simple residential and commercial finishes, assist with door and gate installation and cut and fasten simple plastic water and feed lines. The workers will use all types of hand tools, tape measures, pneumatic nailers and staplers, power drills, power wrenches, and saws. The workers will lift and carry wood and other construction materials and always be cleaning up the jobsite. The workers will not be supervising other workers, doing complex carpentry plumbing nor using heavy equipment.

Must be able to lift and carry 75lbs for 50 yards. Must be able to handle temperature extremes. Some weekend work.
