Job Duties:

***RFI Response*** The Landscape Worker will perform facility equipment maintenance as well as inventory. These services include the following: Light facility equipment maintenance – Routine cleaning, Inspection, and recalibration of gardening and motorized equipment as necessary. Make sure motorized equipment is working properly. Clean hands tools. Wipe the metal parts of pruners, shears, and loppers with an oily rag. Sharpen cutting tools as well as the blades of shovels and spades during the gardening season. It may include routine upkeep on business's equipment to keep them in reliable working order. Light facility equipment Inventory– help to upkeep landscaping inventory. Manually audit the inventory every week for ordering purposes for equipment and tools, including hand tools, pruners, shears, loppers, shovels and spades. This is not an advanced position requiring experience or decision-making abilities. ***Original F.a.2*** Use hand/power tools to landscape and maintain lawns. Lay sod, mow, trim, plant, water, fertilize, rake and blow leaves, install sprinklers and mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units. Pull, chop weeds, prune and haul topsoil and mulch. Dig holes using hand/powertools with a max width of 4 ft and a max depth of 3 ft, holes are to install sprinklers and/or plant. Additional duties may include light facility/equipment maintenance & inventory. Involves bending, stooping, lifting and stretching on a frequent basis. Must be able to lift 50 lbs often, work in extreme weather conditions.

Must be able to lift 50 lbs. often, work in extreme weather conditions. Hours may vary and overtime required based on weather and project need. Travel to project locations within Saratoga and Warren Counties of New York. All tools/supplies req'd, provided at no cost. On-the-job training will not be provided. Random drug testing post-hire at employers expense for all workers, both domestic and H-2B.
