- Job Duties:
- This individual will directly supervise, motivate, train and coordinate activities of workers engaged in landscaping or grounds keeping activities. Direct activities of workers who perform duties, such as landscaping, cultivating lawns, or pruning trees and shrubs. Inspect completed work to ensure conformance to specifications, standards, and contract requirements. Train workers in landscaping tasks. On top of supervisory responsibilities, a supervisor will perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: landscaping or maintaining grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment, sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking and installation of mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units.

- Special Requirements:
- Requires three months of previous landscape experience. Must lift/carry 50 lbs., when necessary. Saturday and Sunday work required, when necessary. Post-hire drug testing required of foreign and domestic workers upon suspicion of use. Post-hire background check required of foreign and domestic workers. Employer may offer more than the stated work hours depending on weather, business needs, and other conditions. Extreme heat, cold, rain, or drought may affect exact working hours.
