Job Duties:
Assist skilled painters with the painting of exterior surfaces of residential and commercial properties. Duties include using, supplying or holding materials or tools, and cleaning work area and equipment. Apply protective coverings, such as masking tape, to articles or areas that could be damaged or stained by work processes. Fill cracks or breaks in surfaces of plaster articles or areas with putty or epoxy compounds. Smooth surfaces of articles to be painted, using sanding and buffing tools and equipment. Need to be able to work extensively on ladders.

Special Requirements:
Requires three months of prior experience in exterior painting. Must lift/carry 35 lbs., when necessary. Standard shift schedule of 7:30AM-4:00PM M-F or 8:30AM-5:00PM. Workers may be required to work either shift pending business needs. Saturday work required, when necessary. Employer-paid drug testing required of foreign and domestic workers prior to commencing work and post-hire at random, upon suspicion of use, and post-accident. Post-hire background check required of foreign and domestic workers. Employer may offer more than the stated work hours depending on weather, business needs, and other conditions. Extreme heat, cold, rain, or drought may affect exact working hours.
