Job Description

- Job Duties:
- Painting the interior walls and exterior surfaces of commercial properties using brushes, rollers, and spray guns. May remove old paint to prepare surface prior to painting. Apply protective coverings, such as drop cloths or masking tape, to articles or areas that could be damaged or stained by work processes. Fill cracks or breaks in surfaces of plaster articles or areas with putty or epoxy compounds. Smooth surfaces of articles to be painted, using sanding and buffing tools and equipment. Keep inventory of paint/materials and equipment on site. Clean work area and equipment. Need to be able to work extensively on ladders.

- Special Requirements:
- Requires six months of commerical painting experience. Must lift/carry 50 lbs., when necessary. Saturday and Sunday work required, when necessary. Post-hire drug testing required of foreign and domestic workers upon suspicion of use. Post-hire employment eligibility (e-Verify) check required of foreign and domestic workers. Must possess or be able to obtain U.S. driver's license within 30 days of hire. Employer may offer more than the stated work hours depending on weather, business needs, and other conditions. Extreme heat, cold, rain, or drought may affect exact working hours.
