Job Duties:

This position is responsible for setting up, tending to, and operating paint spraying and paint rolling machines that apply the powder coating paint to window and door frames. The operator will prepare plugs, racking, and all parts of painting machines as well as all parts to be painted/coated. Additionally, the operator is responsible for the final visual quality check of all products and the loading and unloading of the paint line; will assist in paint booth color changes as instructed, count parts coming off line and carefully stack in bundles, may have to perform light touch up painting of parts and hand powder coating of metal parts. Will change filters, clean hand equipment, maintain parameters on the line, perform chemical tests, check nozzles and chemicals, ensure equipment is running properly and supplies are in stock for upcoming jobs, and coordinate with other members of the production team.
