Job Duties:

Physically demanding duties related to new and replacement low/steep slope residential asphalt roofing projects. Assist more experienced roofers and crew leaders by using, supplying or holding materials and tools. Unload materials and tools from work trucks. Remove old roofing materials. Sweep and clean roofs to prepare them for the application of new roofing materials. Set ladders, scaffolds, and hoists. Cover roofs with layers of roofing felt or similar materials to prepare for installation. Assist with and perform duties related to the re-roofing process as directed by crew leader. Maintain tools and clean work area and equipment. May assist with other repair tasks and projects at worksite in connection with / ancillary to roofing projects. All duties to be performed utilizing proper fall protection and scaffolding.
