Job Duties:

Move dock materials to and from storage or production areas and delivery vehicles to installation site, by hand. The workers will assist Crew Leaders/Dock Installers moving prefabricated seasonal dock sections from truck to shore, assist with dock installation, and dock maintenance and removal. Seasonal docks are a structure that is installed into the water in the spring and removed in the fall. Involves carrying, lifting, and assembling docks by connecting prefabricated sections. They will be working over the water, carrying dock material from the shore to the dock. They will need to be able to follow instructions of the crew leader while paying attention to details. Workers will work with a team to efficiently and safely build docks to the highest quality level using basic hand tools such as tape measures, hammers, screwdrivers, pliers, clamps and battery powered tools. The workers will perform tasks involving good balance with the ability to walk on a 12 inch wide plank, bending and stretching on a frequent basis. During the slower parts of the season (the time between the installation and removal periods) workers will assist with deck and step installs and hoist service work on the lake.

MUST BE 18 OR OLDER.MUST LIFT/CARRY 75 LBS., WHEN NECESSARY. OT, SATURDAY AND SUNDAY WORK REQUIRED, WHEN NECESSARY. MUST BE ABLE TO PERFORM PHYSICAL LABOR OUTDOORS FOR UP TO 8 HOURS PER DAY IN ALL WEATHER CONDITIONS, INCLUDING COLD, SNOW, HEAT, AND RAIN. Pre-employment background check required of foreign and domestic workers, at no cost to the worker. Drug testing required of foreign and domestic workers prior to commencing work at no cost to workers.
