Job Duties:

Kitchen Helpers will be responsible for the safe, accurate, and speedy preparation and cooking of food served to our customers: inspect food preparation and serving areas to ensure safe, sanitary food-handling practices; prepare kitchen utensils and cooking equipment by ensuring they are washed and functioning properly; weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to recipes or personal judgment; preparing food such as vegetables, fruits, meats, and cheeses by cutting and portioning them for the expected activity level for the day. Perform general cleaning activities in kitchen and dining areas: the workers will help with cleaning, dishwashing, and food running if necessary. Help with cleaning food preparation equipment, work areas, and counters or tables.

WORK WILL OCCUR UP TO 6 DAYS PER WEEK (WHEN THE RESTAURANT IS OPEN 7 DAYS/WEEK). THE SCHEDULE MAY BE FROM 7AM TO 4PM OR FROM 4PM TO MIDNIGHT DEPENDING ON IF THE EMPLOYEE IS SCHEDULED TO WORK THE DAY SHIFT OR NIGHT SHIFT.
