Job Duties:

Entry level, no experience required, work under close supervision. Perform variety of food processing duties at central food processing location. Prepare, decorate, package, load for shipping various bakery items such as donuts, bagels, muffins, munchkins, etc. May assist in routine cleaning of work area and equipment on a daily basis. A Food Processing worker is generally responsible for producing donuts and bakery products according to Dunkin’ operational standards, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace. They perform a variety of food processing duties at central food processing location: • Follow Brand Standards, recipes, and procedures. • Follow food safety standards. • Prepare Donuts and Bakery Products. • Meeting production goals. • Maintain a clean and organized workstation. • Clean equipment and work area • Maintain a people focused culture on the bakery. • Communicate effectively with managers and coworkers. • Organize and maintain working stock. The workers prepare, decorate, package, load for shipping various bakery items such as donuts, bagels, muffins, munchkins, etc. During the preparation phase they will execute the following step-by-step process: They will mix 3 bags of donut mix in a large mixer by adding water and mixing it for 14 minutes total. Then the dough is taken out of mixing bowl and will be cut into 10 lb. pieces. The pieces are placed into dough press where it is being flattened. The dough is then sent through a sheeter line where it is rolled to the right thickness. From there the dough goes down the line to the cutters where the donuts are cut out and picked off the line and placed on frying screens and placed onto a rack. The rack is put into a proofer where the donuts get their volume. From the proofers they go to the fryers where they are fried to golden color.
