- Job Duties:
- Banquet Captains will be responsible for directly supervising and coordinating activities of workers engaged in preparing and serving food for banquets and in the dining outlets, including scheduling. Will also be responsible for setting up the dining room, taking and placing customers’ orders, carrying trays, serving food and beverages, greeting guests, cleaning and clearing tables, closing out checks at the end of the day, assisting managers and organizers with planning layout and logistics of events, and assisting with administrative duties related to events, such as ordering supplies or confirming reservations. May supervise up to forty (40) workers engaged in preparing and serving food for banquets and in the dining outlets. Schedule: 40 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 7:00AM – 3:00PM, 3:00PM – 11:00PM, or 5:00PM – 1:00AM. Shift hours may vary. Please see job description for additional information.
