- Job Duties:
- Housekeepers will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining all rooms, suites, and indoor common areas at Witham Family Hotels’ property, which includes vacuuming and washing floors, dusting, replenishing linens and towels, (re)stocking housekeeping closets, sweeping room patios, cleaning exterior room doors and windows, taking out trash, stripping rooms, making beds, disinfecting bathrooms, washing windows, loading articles into washers or dry-cleaning machines, starting washers, dry cleaners, driers, or extractors, turning valves or levers to regulate machine processes and the volume of soap, detergent, water, bleach, starch, and other additives, and removing items from washers or dry-cleaning machines. May occasionally inspect rooms for cleanliness and provide assistance with room-cleaning duties (such as helping in making beds, disinfecting the bathrooms, vacuuming) to other Housekeepers. Will also occasionally drive golf carts in order to transport cleaning materials and linens throughout property. Schedule: 35 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 8:30am to 3:30pm, 7:00am to 2:00pm, or 2:00pm to 9:00pm. Shift hours may vary. Please see job description for additional information.
