Job Duties:

General labor associated with asphalt maintenance, patching, sealcoating, and prep work. Manual labor includes shoveling, brooming, and pressure washing asphalt surfaces. Assist in placement of moving and dismantling of signs, barricades, cones, or other traffic control devices. Equipment cleanup as needed, operating push blower and/or wire broom and pressure washers prior to applying seal coating. Operate equipment used for applying crack seal, or other materials to roadbeds, parking lots, sidewalks, or runways. Applying crack fill material using a crack seal kettle and wand. Application of seal coat material using squeegees or spray wand. Preparation of surfaces using asphalt crack router prior to filling cracks. Loading and unloading materials and equipment, lifting required up to 50lbs. Transportation provided to and from area jobsites from a centralized location in the area of intended employment.
