Job Duties:

Apply herbicides for the purposes of keeping commercial, industrial & municipal facilities free of unwanted noxious and invasive vegetation. Work will be conducted on/around roadsides, railroads, storage yards, industrial facilities, etc. Work equipment will include operating a truck or off-road vehicle equipped with a spray tank pump and hoses as well as backpack hand-operated spray pump. Utilize equipment to apply herbicides to outdoor areas by hand or from equipment mounted nozzles. Will also operate traffic control equipment to warn citizens of the presence of spray operations.

Special Requirements:

Must lift/carry 50 lbs., when necessary. Post-hire employment eligibility (e-Verify) check required of foreign and domestic workers. Must possess or be able to obtain U.S. driver's license within 30 days of hire. Per employer's insurance carrier, employees must be 21 years of age, possess a minimum of 3 years of driving experience, with no major violations within the last 60 months. Employer may offer more than the stated work hours depending on weather, business needs, and other conditions. Extreme heat, cold, rain, or drought may affect exact working hours.
