Job Duties:

Oversee repair of highly technical German envelope manufacturing equipment. Specific duties include: developing program for machine repairs, assisting with production & troubleshooting; scheduling machine production reports; analyzing machine downtime reports for scheduled maintenance; repairing Indramat machine drive systems; teaching staff repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting broken machines; working on specifications tooling for custom envelopes. Full-time temporary position, at least 45 hrs/week. Work schedule approximately 12 days/month for 12 months, but for no more than 9 months total workdays each year. Shift is M to F from 5AM to 3PM each day with two 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch break. The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays of each 12-week period of the total period of employment. Benefits: Temporary lodging will be provided to the worker during each work period at a rate of $2,277/month. Standard deductions will be applied to the worker's paycheck. The employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. Worker will be paid every 2 weeks. Daily transportation will be provided to the worker to and from the worksite during each work period. H-2B worker will be reimbursed, in the first work week, for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees. The employer will provide to the worker, without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties assigned. The employer will reimburse the worker for reasonable transportation and subsistence (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) costs from the place of recruitment to the place of employment, if the worker completes 50% of the work contract period. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will also pay for worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $14.00/day during travel to a maximum of $50.00/day with receipts.

Special Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or the equivalent and 60 months of experience in the job offered or similar position. Must have experience with: repair Indramat servo-drive system electronics; knowledge of Winkler and Dunnebier envelope machine maintenance and Winkler and Dunnebier's Tetraflex 510.04 print system; replace and program Allen Bradley Programmable Logic Controller's; design and implement custom compressed air, vacuum, and low pressure air systems to run all envelope equipment.
