Job Duties:
Under the direction of Cook, assist Cook to clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils, and dishes. Weigh or measure ingredients, such as meats and liquids. Prepare fruit and vegetables for cooking. Cut meats, poultry, and seafood and prepare them for cooking. Mix ingredients for salads. Store food in designated containers and storage areas to prevent spoilage. Prepare a range of food items for consumption based on supervisor guidelines. Work Schedule: 8 hours. Monday through Sunday (4 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.) with one weekday off to be determined weekly. Workers will be paid no less than $18.36 per hour. A higher rate may apply based on experience, productivity and/or market conditions. Workers will be paid BIWEEKLY by direct deposit. Overtime hours may vary, depending on weather or other conditions. Overtime Wage: $27.54 per hour. Double time rate (if required by law): $36.72/hr. The Employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due.

Special Requirements:
Must obtain food handlers permit within 30 days of starting work. 3 months of experience performing food preparation required. Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds. Must demonstrate ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively. Must have good physical endurance including standing for long periods of time. Demonstrated inventory management.
