- Job Duties:
- Replace, fill divots and holes for racetrack using seed/soil mix; install portable turf rail; operate zero turn, walk-behind mowers, trimmers and turf rollers near thoroughbred horses. “Portable turf rails” are lightweight plastic. Therefore, the tools used to install the portable turf rails are a post pounder to tap the rail into place as well as long tape measures and paint to mark the area. A “post pounder” is essentially a large, weighted hammer.
