- Job Duties:
- -Prepare, operate and maintain tortilla making machines, conveyor belts, mixers and fryers. -Measure and weigh masa, flour, salt, sugar and other ingredients for tortilla products. -Combine measured ingredients in mixers or other machinery and mix ingredients. -Manufacture and package tortillas and snack items like toasted tortilla chips and duros. -Ensure all manufacturing and cooking facilities meet proper food safety and member safety guidelines. -Maintain adequate stock levels to ensure adequate production of tortilla products. -Merchandise tortilla products on shelves, merchandisers and floor displays. -Engaging with customers through smiles and greetings, offering product information and always giving a genuine thank you. -Maintain a positive and friendly attitude towards customers and fellow team members. -Keep clean neat and orderly work areas to include all machines, equipment, counters, and floors. -Other prep duties as assigned.
