- Job Duties:
- Preparation of the flooring for installation might include leveling, shaving, cleaning and ensuring that the subfloor is structurally sound. The installation will include measuring and cutting flooring material, this might be solid and engineered hardwood, LVP and laminate. The employee will use various installation methods, including nails, staples, adhesives or other fasteners, to secure the flooring in place. The installer will be adding finishing touches such as baseboards, thresholds, or other moldings to complete the installation. The employee will be required to use various equipment, including table saws, mitre saws, jig saws, and pneumatic guns, drills, hammers.
