Job Duties:

Under the direction of the Construction Superintendent, Foreman or other Skilled Workers, this job requires tasks involving manual labor at construction sites. Utilizing hand tools such as shovels, rakes, etc., assists with the preparation of the site for placing of concrete by digging, spreading, and leveling dirt and gravel to specified height. Utilizing hand tools and power tools, such as hammers, sledges, cordless drills, tape measurers, etc. provides assistance to Concrete Form Builders or other skilled trades with the building or setting of concrete forms by driving stakes, sets bracing to formwork, stretching string lines, material handling, assisting craft workers in the construction of forms utilizing various form material. Utilizing hand and power tools such as rakes, shovels, screeds, etc. assists Concrete Finishers and other skilled personnel with the placement of wet concrete by raking, mucking, and leveling into place in uniform manner according to pre-established form work. Removes formwork and cleans and prepares formwork for future use. Helps with general jobsite cleanup of rubble, debris, and other waste material and other general labor duties as assigned typical of Construction Laborers.
