Job Duties:

Distribute to all housekeepers and laundry workers a daily housekeeping chart with a list of all rooms, suites and cottages noting check-outs, stays and arrivals and noting any special instructions from the front desk and guests. Coordinate with housekeeping and laundry staff to ensure that daily tasks are completed in a timely manner. Perform quality control checks of public areas, guest rooms, suites, and cottages to ensure cleanliness and adherence to company standards. Check to ensure that towels, amenities etc. are properly stocked. Ensure equipment is in good working condition and linens are clean. Perform housekeeping duties as necessary, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, as well as vacuuming and cleaning guest rooms, suites, cottages, and common areas. Also, may help in the laundry with washing, drying, and folding linens, collecting, and distributing laundry. Handle complaints and special requests to achieve complete guest satisfaction. Maintain inventory of supplies and order new items as needed. Will supervise up to eight (8) Housekeepers and (2-3) two to three laundry workers.

NOTE: Regarding F.a 5A-H, F.a-b: A typical work week consists of 36 hours per week. (No overtime as indicated in the job order). With one day off (varies). (Note, the total number of hours per week, 42 hours, indicated above is misleading, due to the entry of 6 hours for each day of the week in the form, which is necessary because, with shifts typically lasting 6 hours per day of productive work and variation of day off (worker may end up working any day of the week and there is not specific day when a worker is guaranteed not to work). (Also, please note the shifts are from 8 am to 3 pm, 7 hours with one hour off for an unpaid rest break which would equal 6 hours per day at 6 days per week as noted in the SWA job order). Note: Regarding F.a.9. Work experience in the 9141 is 12 months hotel/motel housekeeping experience and is also noted in the SWA job order.
