Job Duties:

Learn and understand the meat market's food menu, ingredients and recipes. Cut and chop meats. Prepare, mix, sauté, prepare sauces, and conduct other food preparation tasks. Prepare and cook authentic Mexican food items according to recipe to ensure quality and consistency, such as burritos, tacos, quesadillas, nachos, beans, salsas, and party trays. Monitor food levels and replenish in a timely manner. Take orders from customers and prepare items quickly. Ensure the kitchen and all food preparation areas are maintained in a clean and sanitary manner, including all equipment, work areas, counters, and kitchen. Immediately report safety hazards, faulty equipment, and slippery floor conditions. Order supplies and stock shelves. Set up and restock stations with all necessary supplies, condiments and salsas.

Must be able to speak Spanish, as many customers do not speak English. Employer will train. Willing to work flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. Ability to stand for long periods of time.
