Job Duties:

To prepare, season, and cook soups, meats, vegetables, desserts and other foodstuffs for consumption. Measures and mixes ingredients according to recipe, using variety of kitchen utensils/equipment, such as blenders, mixers, grinders, slicers, and tenderizers. Clean and organize kitchen, back dock and all associated areas in accordance with standards and expectations. The employer will offer 40 hours of work per week. Hotel is open 7 days a week, work days vary Sunday through Saturday. Normal shifts: 6am-2:30pm, 10am-6:30pm, 12pm-8:30pm. Shifts include 30 minutes unpaid break time. Work days, hours, and shift times may vary with occupancy. Employer may increase wage based on experience, market conditions, and/or provide additional pay for performance and tenure. Overtime may be available. An overtime premium will be paid when required by Federal, State, or local law, including at time-and-a-half after 40 hours in a workweek. Generally, when overtime is available it will be paid at $30.00 per hour. One optional meal per shift provided at no cost to worker. Employees receive hotel travel room discounts.
