Job Duties:

As roofers, workers will cover roofs of structures with shingles, slate, asphalt, aluminum, wood, or related materials, and may spray roofs, sidings, and walls with material to bind, seal, insulate, or soundproof sections of structures. Workers will repair roofing systems by removing old roofing materials, performing waterproofing, applying new metal to structure, and shingling other materials. Workers will use roofing hammer, hatchet, air compressor, roofing blade, utility knife, roofing shovel, shingle tear-off tool and other roofing-related hand tools. Workers will also use their hands and arms in handling, installing, carrying, loading and unloading materials. Workers will remove water or debris from roofs and set up scaffolding to provide safe access to roofs. Workers will pour concrete and level slabs on roofs, when working at heights the worker will use safety equipment such as anchors, harnesses. The worker should adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.

Must have three (3) months of roofing or related experience. Must be able to lift to 50 lbs. throughout the day. Worker must be comfortable with heights. Worker must be able to pass post-employment random employer-paid drug testing.
