Job Duties:

Assist and provide light preventive maintenance for Ruiz Foods' assets as directed by Maintenance Planner/Schedulers, the Technician Supervisors and Technician Lead. Essential job duties include: • Have a basic understanding of lubrication, industrial bearings, pumps, motors, industrial electrical and the ability to read schematics and prints. • Understand process measurement, hydraulic and fluid power systems. • Assist other technicians with disassembling and assembling equipment. • Diagnose problems and effect repairs on assets. • Perform preventive maintenance and inspect equipment for potential problems. • Responsible for daily startup of system, observe operations; read and record gauges and instruments. • Maintain the Maintenance shop, ensuring the shop is clean and organized at all times. • Perform basic repairs throughout the facility. • Maintain knowledge, understanding and adherence to safety policies, USDA, QA, HACCP and sanitation rules and regulations, and company policies. • Regular and dependable attendance and punctuality is an essential function of this position. • Work towards mechanical progression. • All other duties as assigned.
